Welcome to Hugin Vikings Football Club
We are still seeking a wonderful Sponsor who would consider building our Club House for us at the Home Ground in Dumpton Park Drive. We have the foundations started now so need to be able to continue with the actual building itself. If there is a Sponsor out their willing to contribute to the actual building materials and costs we would seriously consider naming our Ground after the Sponsor alongside our Kit Sponsor Brown & Mason who has really done us proud with all our lovely kits so everyone knows just who we are now when they see our teams playing.

We could really do with a few more Members for our new Under 9's Team and our Under 16's team who both play in the Molten East Kent Youth League. If you fall into these age groups, please call Maureen on 01843 853 857 / 07891 396 658

Hugin Vikings new under 12's A team continued their winning ways with another good performance in the Ramsgate Youth Tournament at Jackey Bakers. Following their quarter final appearance in Herne the
lads this time reached the final and only just lost out to Ramsgate in a hotly contested and well fought match. Along the way they faced the established Hugin Vikings under 12 side in a thrilling game with a stunning last minute free kick from Junior Humphrys snatching a draw. Just 1 of 5 goals scored by the young lad. Also continuing his goal scoring form was Aaron Regis with another well taken finish, Louie Fennell put in a fantastic battling and pacey performance whilst Ash Pointer in goal again made some vital saves, The defence of Connor Kurn and Brandon Miller again proved strong and even more so with the introduction of a solid Kurt Brent, Connor Reeve also made a couple of appearances and also looks set to be a good player for the Vikings. Manager Charlie Venes would like to thank all the parents who came to
support the team and hopes the trend will continue in the future. The whole team would also like to thank Maureen Fiander for the chance that she has given them and hope to repay her faith with even more
wins in the future, especially with the Red Arrow Tournament next weekend. Can they go all the way? We shall see...

Hugin Vikings new Under 12's Team going forward as Under 13's next season have only been together for a couple of weeks but showed their real talent at the Herne 6-a-side Tournament. They really showed their commitment to the Club by finishing runners up in their group, and only lost out in the quarter finals match. Junior Humphrys came up trumps for Hugin by scoring a hattrick in one of the matches. George Wells started Hugins goal scoring in the first match and carried on with a few more and Aaron Regis also did well on the goalscoring side. Goal keeper Ash Pointer showed his talents with some stunning saves during the Tournament and Conner Kurn and Brandon Miller did the team proud in defence. All in all a great time was had by all and the team are now looking forward to a few more Tournaments prior to the League starting. If you would like to join the team and train up with them now please call Maureen on 01843 853 857 or 07891 396 658

Everyone did very well with some of the older members and the dads managing ten laps each. A great effort by everyone and a good start to gaining more funding for the continuation of the Club House build.
