The Veterans team had the greatest of pleasure entertaining a team from France, called Quesnoy sur Deule. A wonderful group of men and woman who really gave us an enjoyable match and time during their stay. The score of 1 - 1 at full time really depicted the quality of the match and a good time was had by all. Hugin Vets did miss out on a penalty shoot out that they decided to have after the match, but spirits were not dampened and were soon raised at the pub afterwards. We are all looking forward to a return trip to France and then keeping up a good annual relationship for matches in the future.
